ARCTIC CONNECT

The global economy and new technologies require more global capacity and bandwidth. The Arctic Connect cable system will increase the redundancy of global networks significantly. The objective of the international Arctic Connect project is to build the first trans-Arctic submarine telecom cable between Europe and Asia.

A study commissioned by the Nordic Council of Ministers projects sharp growth for the Nordic data center market until 2025 – with expected annual construction investments in the order of EUR 2-4.3 billion.
